Monticello Box Canyon with Loren

I got up early this morning to get groceries.  When I came back into the park there was Loren and a couple of other jeeps waiting for the Cedar Cove group to head out to Monticello Box.  Toby/Sue's cousin was here and they hadn't been yet.  Wave good-bye, have fun.  I get to the RV; here comes Wyn saying here I'll unload your groceries they're waiting for you.  There was Newell/Linda with Deb in the back.  So lookiing like a displaced peahen I jumped in for another go round of The Box.  It had changed again.  I think you could go up there twice a month and wonder if you'd ever been there before.

Although a county/state road here is the warning at the beginning.
This year there is SO much water so instead of crossing 100+ times
you end up driving IN it a good portion.  Imagine when the monsoons
are here.  Scary!!

All done!  Let's head to Winston for ice cream.

To make the circle complete and get home in time for HH we always go to Winston, get an ice cream bar and hightail it for home.  We also get to use a REAL bathroom.  BUT there are rules to this bathroom.  Deb NOR  I can read or comprehend.  The sign on the door UNLOCK DOOR BEFORE YOU LEAVE.    I followed Deb and ASSUMED (ass u and me) so I LOCKED the door.  Are you following me here?  It's a fairly large bathroom/shower.  The door is WAAAYYYY over on the other side of the room.    All I can say is: Poor Toby/Sue's cousin.  :)  He'll never be the same.  It probably marked him for life!  :)   Stupendous day!  Beautiful scenery!
