Cactus blooming

I have been obsessed with SW=Swedish Weaving so haven't been on here for awhile.  I have a goal for the projects so am plodding along.  I have 6 done and am speedily finishing #7.  Class was a little slim yesterday but we managed to get Brenda started on one.
There are only 6 rigs left which will all leave between 29-May 1.  And of course we are busily finishing up projects we've had all winter to "think/engineer" to death.  Ken finished the new front "glove box"; Ki (and Ken) reengineered the outside shower (awesome!!) and Ki has the floor/door in finish mode.  Now if I could just engineer a cubby 4x4 (feet that is) for my yarn life would be good.  Hey!  Yarn doesn't weigh much.
Meet Ducky Martin.  He is joining Linda and Newell this summer.  They left Friday morning and arrived in ND safely.  They stopped by and saw Cliff & Karen on the way.  Then we said goodbye to Gyppie and her servants Clay and Sharon.  They made it to NV yesterday.

And then there is Roady - our roadrunner.  Here he is in a deep deline looking somewhat like a crane.   Gail (ND) got him used to eating ND raw hamburger then Clay took that over using NM hamburger.  Then Clay left!! How rude.  He wanders around where Clay was parked in a daze.  Debbie tried to feed him but she's like a fart on a hot skillet and keeps him agitated.  So Wyn began the cycle yesterday.  He was starving :) and even when she thought he was done he clacked at her and conned her into bringing out the board again.  The serving board that is.
The cactus is just beginning to bloom - it was a tough winter everywhere.  Here is one on the new patio at the clubhouse.  We are all outside as much as we can before we all head north, east and west.  89* yesterday with more 80's for the rest of the week.  I thought about putting our heater away then came to my senses....we're headed north.
And here is a picture of the many reasons we are heading north.  KaCe is in school while the little boys watch Care Bears.  Ethan our resident "stick it up my nose/swallow the nickel" expert is proudly propping his BB up.  Yep!  Time to head north.

And then there were 4........

This season appears to be "ending"..................
