A good week which ended with a celebration.  Every Saturday morning is the Farmer's Market in TRC so Wyn/Ki and I went.  Got some good stuff and the great news is they are open every Saturday in October.  Woo-hoo!  And we've made friends with the fruit seller outside Alco and MIGHT have his schedule for the winter.  He goes over to Yuma to get citrus fruit and maintains a garden in Monticello.  Really good, good tomatoes.
Monday is $1.50 tacos at the Shack in EB and Pseudo-Mart had really big jalapenos so we had Tacos and jalapenos.  Clay came up with that idea which was a good one.
Later in the week Wyn, Sharon and I headed to Bullock's but stopped off at the clubhouse to check the mail.  There was Moosey sitting at the table drinking coffee, having a donut and reading the paper.  (Martha just HAD to have him when visiting Dave/Deb in Woodland Park.)

Wyn decided to do pulled pork so we began to create a Saturday dinner.  Somewhere in the back of my mind I remember Oct 1 is their anniversary so we planned a surprise A. cake.  I THOUGHT they'd been together 21 years and married 10 years so had the cake scripted with this understanding.  Loren brought his famous chef salad.
Sharon made her Awesome Slaw.  Yes they are both going into the cookbook.  We also planned our annual next day air the Oysters that Clay/Sharon ramrod.  It's getting closer. Can hardly wait.  Martins and Zellers better hurry up.  Sharon is ordering three minutes after the last one lands.  :)

We also talk about taking John/Wyn/Ki  up the Box to see the fall colors.  Can hardly wait.

Then is was time for cake - that's when I realized I was a year off for the marriage so I improvised and turned 10 into 11.

And that is how October started.
