This is why we come south...............

Ken's ready to check the first turkey!  I goofed up on the second
one and put the thermometer too near a bone so we had to punt
for a short time.  

Sharon is supervising the cooking.  She was in charge of
gravy and didn't want to not have turkey to put under it.

We finally got to have our fried turkey dinner this Sunday.  The weather has been SO wonderful and today was no exception.  We put the food tables up next to Clay and Sharon's RV (it never gets the sun) and put the eating tables out in front of ours.

New adoptees to the group: Lonnie and Mary.  They lived in
ND near Newell and Linda.  Come anytime - we think we love you!

Then the visiting after dinner. This is why we love it here.
December 13th and we're still outside without coats.

Thanks guys for helping get the oil back into the jugs.  We'll \
use it next time.  It's stored in the "frig" under the house where no
sun hits it.
