Maurene called while I was gone. It is snowing "up north" so they left Saturday morning. I'm leaving the flower waving in the sun for them.
After a few hits and misses they pulled in late yesterday afternoon. Bill pulled in with their new to them 5th wheel and Maurene pulled in with the car pulling their little Geo. Wootwoot! The season is shaping up.
Ken had a doc apt Monday morning. We caught Carol up on the summer and they decided to get him started on a happy pill; bump up his pain pill a bit and rechecking in a month. Then he'll have another round of TPI's with PA Lisa. Hopefully she won't wuss out giving them in his neck. Wait and see will continue to be the motto of the day. Praying with these changes he can even out a little.
I started teaching Kara and Mary (new camp host) the sweatshirt caper Monday and Tuesday. Tuesday I worked on the new stitch (right angle weave) I'm learning. I'm prepping for a new design. The Caduceus in this one. Guess I'll rip it up and actually do a set.
Tuesday night we had Happy Hour outside (84*) and roasted hot dogs over the fire. Really. Cedar Cove provided the dogs and we chipped in the side dishes. Great time. Next time I think we may sait until the sun goes down a little more.
Wyn and Claire having dessert.
LEO - don't look at her that way! She'll leave you a LITTLE bit of room in your basement - a 5"x7" spot. :)
Bill and Don visiting with overnight visitors. Bob has a new phone - he loves it.
Kara/Leo are here until the first and she wants to learn several crafts before they leave - so we are loading her up. Maurene/Bill will do teacup lights and Wyn/me will help her with beading.
Should be fun. Waitin' on Dave/Deb; Kathy/Doug; Linda/Newell; Jan/Ray and many others. Sending safe travel prayers their way. Ahhhhhhh! Life is SOOOO good!!
