It seems we take 2 steps forward and fall back 3-4. The last TPI's did Ken no good. In fact he has not felt well since we landed. Some things are better and others are almost back where he started. I remember when my migraines were out of control I lived in about an 8 shooting up to 10+ just to see if I was paying attention. Then I got them under control for several years. After the accident they came back and I found out I just couldn't handle an 8 regularly. Jean (endometriosis?) agreed with me. I think this may be what is happening to Ken. Also the pain in other places has increased and he just seems to be no coping well. We have seen this happen several times the past few years. Something works good for a while and then peters out. We'll see Monday if the doc can help figure out another possible direction to take. I have begun doing my own research for another idea. I really hate it but need to be prepared and know what options we may/may not have.
We are starting the Fall activities about a month early here at Cedar Cove: Stitch and Bitch; donut Saturday; Tuesday Happy Hour. I swore I wasn't going to do any more sweatshirts....................whatever. I'm going to make a red/white/black in a white one. We'll start that Monday. I'm still beading - trying to do another of each one I did this summer EXCEPT for the Cellini spiral set...........it would take a LOT of $$$ for me to do that again. (OK - do NOT use never - you know how that's worked in your life!!)
We ordered some baskets from one of the Las Cruces drops and will go pick them up Saturday. I'm thinking it is a very new drop as I don't think they came anywhere near capacity. We'll see. The next time we'll go to Deming - it's at St Claire Winery - gonna be SOOO bad to go there! Not! We are going to combine our lists for those two towns - i.e. bead stores, Sam's, fabric stores, Mexico, etc. :) Can't just make a trip special for all that now can we?
Another day in Manana (? doesn't look right) Land.
