It All Began With A Little Party

Our full time RV life could only start after another life has ended.  The ending started with a little party and they found a little tiny problem just after they opened the cake box. Can you find it?  :)
Hello Albertson's - We have a problem with the cake.
OK Now Isn't that better?

Isn't that a wonderul cake with a highway running through it?

I started volunteering at the Heritage Center at the CAM-PLEX Multi-Event Center grounds when the doors opened in 1989.  I loved it so much I recruited Ken and eventually Whitney and K.C. when they were old enough.  It was an awesome place to volunteer and to work. Through the years I have seen and experienced wonderful places and people.  I know people from all over the world and can even count many of them as friends.

What a beautiful job of decorating they did.  Of course the theater needs little decorating; but they weren't about to let me leave without lots of purple.
And they also made sure they had a representative picture of all the types of RV's we've had.  From a tent trailer to a motorhome.  We had them all.

O Get a grip - Of course it's purple!

Thanks for the beautiful cake!

Shoes and purses........now how would they know about those fetishes?  :)
My wonderful husband bought me the roses.  The different colors denote the different years: volunteer, Front of House and finally Theater Manager.  Thanks hones, I couldn't have done all this without your love and support.

It wouldn't be a party without entertainment. Jaymi and the Heritage Center staff went into the prop room and found lots of fun stuff.  I donated lots of Mom's things and they found ALL of her peignoirs.  So each "old lady" wore one.  It you look you can see canes and other "old people" props.  Thanks for these memories.  And they shall continue to make good ones for themselves and their patrons.

Kit, Kit, Kit - What about your hair dude???

Gosh, I'm gonna miss these guys!
