What we are doing now.

The holidays are over and we can get down to business.  Business?  Yes! The business of enjoying life and making memories what else?

Debbie SAID she didn't know how to fold a fitted sheet.  Looks to me like she did just fine.  She let Maurene and Dianne fold them.

Sarah is having a blast doing hand work.  I gather she hasn't much of this type of craft in the past; so is making up for it now.  What a NICE set of glasses she has while she works with tiny, tiny beads.

Beading has caught on like gangbusters.  Me?  I'm still doing SW; even bought a design program to design my own patterns.  My great-nephew wants a  SW flag afghan, so will try it out on that.
Bill just kept drawing queens on HIS turn in Golf.

Here is the group working on teacup nightlights.  It uses a china cup, a penny, a nightlight, a dremel and water.  They are beautiful.  Maybe I'll do some this summer in WY.

The cookbook project!  First printing done.  So far only one omission of directions reported.
The limo at Mt View Hospital in L.C. Been taking Sharon back and forth.

And finally the puppies.  Wylie; Zoey; Luc and Heidi in Wyn's arms.  Yes we have totally gone to the dogs.

At Pro's Ranch Market in L.C. they have begun the season with BBQ'd chicken, onions and vegetable.  Smelled devine!

Headed to L.C. then will head on to El Paso with Sharon when she's done with dialysis to see another specialist.  Going to be a long day for her.

Egad.....mmmmm Aedan you turned 1 today!!

Egad - E Squared - properly named Aedan Thomas Llewelyn came into the world one year ago today with a big yell.  He's been making himself known every since then.
After a 2 week tune-up at the NICU in Denver he began to grow - maybe not taller he has Colpitts genes afterall - but he did grow.

Today - he is toddling around making friends with his buddies KaCe and Ethan.

Yes - Aedan this is my FAVORITE picture of you and yes, I'll embarrass you when you are 15 and beyond.

Here are the three littlest gsons.
Love you bunches!!  Grams and Grandad

A New Year....

It's a Happy New Year!  The last week has been wonderful in the weather department and currently we are praying we will miss the next storm that is coming tonight.  It is the 115th day on The Alley.   We have been able to sit outside 96.5 days.  (We credit Clay with a goodly number of these.  He's our outside hero.)  Here are the rest of the stats.

Today: Jan 8

Begin: Sept 16

Ken, Darrel, Sue & I went to Mexico Friday.  A beautiful day.  Mexico was quiet but I came back with a hat - like I NEED another hat - but I really like it.  We had lunch in Deming after stopping the Peppers the local supermarket.  Great place.  Think I'll shop there again on a trip to/from Mexico.  Like February 10.  Ken got some medicine for his and Mona's Seborrhea.  Hope it works.  We can't get the other ointment anymore.  We'll get the rest of our yearly better living through Mexican Drug Therapy when we go down then.  Makes me mad that they are made by the SAME drug company and are a fraction of what we must pay here.

I wore my chenille vest and was once again unhappy with the way it fit.  So I got up early Saturday and reworked it again.  By jove I think I've got it.  I wore it all day yesterday and was happy with the way it fit.  I'm bugging Debbie about getting hers embellished and wearing it.  It'll probably need another bump up in the reword department also.  I told her she can't make a sweatshirt jacket if she doesn't finish it.  (Right.  Like that'll work.)  I'm sneaking up on beginning a sweatshirt jacket. And on to another day.  Hope we can finally get all the cookbooks together by Wednesday.  Better get crackin'.
